THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BLACK SEA COOPE 10.02.2021RATION

On February 10, 2021, BNTU academic staff and students attended the International Conference on Black Sea Cooperation.

The conference was opened by Mr. Oral Erdogan, chairperson of the Black Sea Association of Maritime Institutions (BSAMI), Rector of the Piri Ries University.

George Gabedava, Head of the International Relations Service of BNTU, delivered a speech at the conference. He presented a report on "Challenges Caused by COVID19, Solution found, Current Situation and Future Plans" to the audience.

In the report, the main focus was on the best practices in the fight against pandemics by BNTU, which were used to continue the learning process in an online format and maintain its continuity. Also, about the activities planned by the university.

The report was followed by a discussion and a Q&A format.

Mr. Parmen Khvedelidze, Rector of BNTU, was invited as a member of the Scientific Board of the Conference.

The conference was organized by the Black Sea Association of Maritime Institutions (BSAMI)and was attended by representatives of the member universities, the European Commission, the Balkan and Black Sea Commission, the International Black Sea Center and others.
