Visit of the Head of the International Relations Service to the Klaipeda Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal

On February 22, 2022, Head of the International Relations Service of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Associate Professor George Gabedava, visited the Klaipeda Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal (Klaipeda LNG Terminal) in Klaipeda, Lithuania.   He got acquainted with the working principle of the terminal and saw the terminal infrastructure.   After the visit at the terminal, a meeting was held with the Director of the Klaipeda Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal Jurgita Silinskaite Vensloviene. A presentation on the commercial aspects of the terminal was made at the meeting. The parties discussed ways and directions for future possible cooperation.   The terminal started operating on December 3, 2014. After the construction of the Klaipeda LNG terminal was completed, Lithuania became the fifth country in the world to use technology to generate liquefied natural gas.
