Informational Meeting on Maritime Training Practice

On December 1, 2025, the Student Services Office of BNU held an informational meeting with third- and fourth-year students. The purpose of the meeting was to provide detailed information on the organization and implementation of maritime training practice, as well as on the procedures for maintaining the Seafarer’s Training Record Book.

During the meeting, students were provided with comprehensive information regarding the administrative and practical aspects of completing maritime practice. Particular attention was paid to the established requirements, including mandatory training courses, relevant certification and the procedures for obtaining, completing and validating the Seafarer’s Training Record Book and its competency records.

The Student Services Office emphasized the importance of these procedures both for the successful completion of academic requirements and for acquiring the practical experience essential for students’ future professional careers.
