Information Meetings: Professional Orientation and Career Development

On July 18-19, 2024, the BNTU’s Office of Student Services organized informational meetings for graduates of the Bachelor of Maritime Navigation and Ship’s Power Plant programs to support their professional orientation and career development.
During these meetings, the following topics were discussed:
- Production of the Training Record Book
- Overview of vacancies available in BNTU's partner crewing companies
- Preparation of essential documents for interviews
- CV/résumé completion
- Writing cover letters.
Heads of practice from the training ship Akhtiar, including the Deep Sea Captain, Tamaz Bolkvadze and Chief Mechanic, Giorgi Mgeladze attended the informational meeting. The provided the attendees with practical information and recommendations on the topics listed.
The meetings were conducted in a question-and-answer format.
