Reception of the Participants of the IAMU General Assembly

On October 18, 2022, the reception of the participants of the annual general assembly of International Association of Maritime Universities was held at the "Sheraton Batumi" Hotel.

Rector of Batumi Navigation Teaching University, Parmen Khvedelidze, Chancellor, Lali Khvedelidze and Deputy Rectors, Gela Gvarishvili and George Gabedava attended the event.

Batumi State Maritime Academy is the organizer of the 22nd Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU). This year it is held for the first time in Georgia.

IAMU unites 68 higher education institutions of 36 countries around the world. Its honorary members include the World Maritime University (WMU) and the Nippon Foundation.
