შეხვედრა პროექტის “დუალური განათლების განხორციელების შესაძლებლობების გაძლიერება საქართველოში უმაღლეს განათლებაში“ შესახებ (EN)
On February 21-22, 2023, BNTU Associate Professor, Second Deputy Rector in the Direction of Management of Educational Processes and International Relations - George Gabedava attends the kick-off meeting of the ERASMUS+ Capacity Building project "Strengthening capacities for the implementation of dual education in Georgia higher education (DUGEOR)”.
The deputy rector presented a report to the members of the project consortium about the BNTU and its ongoing and planned events.
Also, he presented a logistics company "INTERLOGGEORGIA" LTD that will be involved in the project with BNTU as a partner organization.
Project Specific Goals are:
Implementation of dual education into HE system in Georgia;
Enabling students to learn more relevant knowledge and skills through dual education;Improvement of legal framework and accreditation standards in Georgian in order to adapt to dual education;
Development of a generic model of dual education (DUGEOR model) to support the different needs and interests of students, companies, and higher education institutions (HEIs) in Georgia and to provide recommendations to HEIs for the Implementation of dual education.
The project consortium consists of 16 members, including 4 foreign universities (Serbia, Austria, Germany), 5 Georgian universities and 5 partner organizations.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement are members of the consortium.
The project is financed by the European Union within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Capacity Building program.
This project started on January 1, 2023 and will end on December 31, 2026.
The host of the meeting is the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.
