Final Results of the Internal Targeted Research Grant Competition

The winner of the 2026 Internal Targeted Research Grant Competition at Batumi Navigation University (BNU) has been announced.

According to the decision of the Competition Committee, the winning research project is "International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREG) – with Commentary," led by Nugzar Bolkvadze, Assistant Professor at BNU. The project will be implemented over a period of one year.

The project aims to prepare practical explanations and commentaries on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREG), contributing to the enhancement of the quality of maritime education and the development of a modern educational resource for future seafarers and maritime professionals.
