On November 6, 2018, an internal university tournament was held at BNTU. 24 students of BNTU and Makhinjauri Lyceum participated in the quarter-final, semi-final and final round. The winner of the tournament is the 1st-year course student of BNTU Marine-Engineering Faculty Vadim Avdalov (I place), 3rd-year course student of Marine Engineering Faculty Igor Basiladze (II place) and Kakha Putkaradze (III place) 1st-year course student of the Marine-Engineering Faculty.
