On September 13, 2018, Maritime Transport Agency, UN Women's International Organization for Women (UNWomen) and Georgia's International Marine and Trade Association (WISTA Georgia) signed the GIMF 2018, the 2nd International Maritime Forum Memorandum, the aim of which is women's economic and social intensification, integration and support. From November 25 to December 10, UN Women is organizing social campaigning for 16 days against gender Violence and harassment.
