Training: Academic and Research Ethics and Plagiarism Prevention
A special questionnaire was developed at BNTU to assess students’ knowledge of academic and research ethics, academic integrity, plagiarism prevention, and academic writing standards. Based on the analysis of the survey results, a targeted training was planned and conducted on November 29, 2025.
The training, titled “Academic and Research Ethics, Academic Integrity, Plagiarism Prevention and Academic Writing Standards,” was delivered by the National Institute for Economic Research. During the session, key principles of academic integrity, types of plagiarism, and prevention mechanisms were discussed. Particular attention was paid to academic writing standards and citation rules.
This activity contributed to strengthening students’ academic responsibility and fostering an ethical research culture.
