Training on the Changes to the ISO 9001:2026 Standard

On 9 and 10 October 2026, representatives of Batumi Navigation University’s administrative personnel participated in a training session entitled “Changes to the ISO 9001:2026 Standard and Their Importance for Improving the Quality Management System.”

The training was led by invited trainer Natia Zedginidze, who introduced participants to the changes outlined in the ISO 9001:2026 standard, their significance and the approaches required to ensure the effective functioning of a quality management system.

The training focused on the importance of continuous improvement of the quality management system, effective process management, and ensuring the alignment of organizational activities with international standards.

The training is expected to contribute to fostering a quality culture within the organization, improving processes, and enhancing the effectiveness of the quality management system.
