On October 25, 2025, the BNU Research Center organized a webinar titled “Scientometric Indices: Their Nature, Types, and Importance for Researchers.”
The webinar was intended for the university’s academic and invited staff and aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of modern scientific evaluation systems.
The session covered topics such as types of scientometric indices (e.g., h-index, i10-index, Impact Factor), their use in assessing researchers’ activity and publication impact, as well as practical recommendations for improving individual scientific portfolios.
The event aimed to enhance the engagement and competence of university staff in order to improve the quality of research activities.
