Visit of Viktor Sencila to BNTU

From November 29 to December 3,2021 Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Marine Technologies and Sciences Victor Sensila (Viktor Sencila) from Partner University "Klaipeda University" visited Batumi Navigation Teaching University within the ERASMUS + International Credit Mobility Program (ICM - Mobility for Teaching).   During the visit, the professor gave lectures to the students of Batumi Navigation Teaching University throughout the week on the following topics:

• Introduction to Lithuania and presentation of Klaipeda port and Klaipeda university;
• Carriage by sea historical development;
• Contemporary maritime transportation features and trends;
• Port structural division and management models;
• Dry ports in theory and practice;

The Rector, Chancellor and Head of the International Relations Service also met with the guest. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation and outlined appropriate ways.   During the visit, cultural activities were planned, during which the professor visited mountainous Adjara, ethnographic and Nobel Brothers museums.
