Program Objective

The goal of the program is to prepare a qualified specialist who possesses the technical skills required for installing, updating, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing and maintaining hardware and operating systems. The graduate will have knowledge of the key facts, principles, processes and general concepts characteristic of the field.

Qualification Awarded: Basic Vocational Qualification in Information Technology Support

Employment Opportunities: An Information Technology Support Specialist can be employed in organizations of any profile and size.

Admission Requirement: Basic general education

Duration: 10 months

Funding: The program is fully funded by the state.

Upon completion, the graduate will be able to:

  • Provide computer hardware support
  • Provide computer software support
  • Work with mobile, Linux and Windows Server operating systems
  • Set up and configure peripheral devices
  • Install and configure small-scale computer networks
  • Install and configure video surveillance systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot faults in computer systems
  • Provide on-site and remote support for computer systems.
