Georgia is located on the transit route between Europe and Asia, where strategic cargo flows are transported. Accordingly, Georgia represents the Europe-Caucasus-Central Asia Intermodal Transport Logistics System, serving as a key hub in this important logistics network. The main goal of public policy is to position Georgia's region as a leader in transportation and logistics sectors. As the intensity and volume of transportation increase, so does the demand for well-managed cargo capacity, which, in turn, drives the growth of the freight sector's competitiveness. It is also crucial to integrate Georgia into international transportation systems and enhance the country's transit potential.
Therefore, there is a pressing need for qualified personnel with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to create and implement business strategies for transport-express and logistics firms. These individuals will be capable of efficient management, organizational structure improvement, logistics development, and increasing the country's transit potential, all aimed at planning and implementing relevant initiatives/projects and conducting their effective execution and more.
