Giorgi Magnaradze, 22, is a fourth-year student at Batumi Navigation Teaching University, enrolled in the Bachelor’s educational program in Maritime Navigation.

On March 21, Giorgi departed for a long-distance voyage. He was selected, together with several other students, by a foreign shipowning company through an interview process.

Giorgi is currently employed aboard the vessel CHARLOTTE SCHULTE, sailing under the Singapore flag.

The interview was conducted in August of last year by the German company Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement.
