The International Relations Service is here to assist you throughout the registration process for the Batumi Navigation University exchange program.
Basic Requirements:
To participate in the Erasmus+ program, students must not be in the first or final year of their current level of study.
Admissions/Academic Information:
Foreign students should submit the required documents to the following email address: erasmusplus@bntu.edu.ge. Once all documents are received, BNU will evaluate the student's academic performance and make an admission decision.
Please note:
- Students need a visa to obtain a residence permit in Georgia. For more information on visas, visit Visa Information.
- Students must have a valid insurance policy from their home country, covering all medical services in Georgia.
Academic Year:
The academic year at Batumi Navigation Teaching University consists of two semesters: Autumn and Spring.
Credits:
Credits earned by students while studying at BNU will be forwarded as a transcript to their home universities upon completion of their studies.
Language of Instruction:
All courses for foreign students at BNU are conducted in English.
Course Load:
Students can earn up to 30 ECTS credits during a regular semester.
How to Register:
Exchange students from partner universities must submit the following documents in English to erasmusplus@bntu.edu.ge :
- An official nomination letter from your home university.
- A completed BNU application form.
- A study contract (including selected courses).
- A language proficiency certificate (B2 level: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 79).
- A copy of your international passport.
- A completed EUROPASS CV form.
Selection Process:
The Selection Committee at BNU will review and make the final selection of grantees based on the evaluation of candidates. The selection is primarily based on English language proficiency.
Note: Applicants who have previously received an Erasmus+ grant at the same level of study will not be given preference.
