Under the Erasmus+ ICM mobility program, students enrolled in the bachelor's and master's degrees at Batumi Navigation University have the opportunity to study abroad, provided they meet the program's eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
English Language Proficiency: Students must possess an international English language proficiency certificate (IELTS: minimum 6.0; TOEFL: minimum 78) or a certificate indicating they have passed the English language institutional exam conducted by BNU.
Academic Standing:
- Bachelor's and master's students must have successfully completed their first academic year at BNU.
- Students must not be in a final semester.
Eligible Participants:
- Bachelor's students in the first semester of their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year.
- Master's students in their second year.
Ineligible Participants:
- Students with outstanding financial debts to BNU.
- Those who do not meet the requirements established by the university's framework agreement, strategic development plan, and the regulations of the International Relations Service for participation in the exchange program.
- Students who have already received an Erasmus Mundus or Erasmus+ grant at the same academic level.
Required Documentation:
Active students at BNU must submit the following documents in English to participate in the selection process:
- A copy of their international passport.
- A completed application form.
- A CV in the Europass format.
- An international English language certificate (IELTS, TOEFL) or a certificate of passing the English language institutional test conducted by BNU.
- Academic transcript (mark sheet).
- A cover letter.
- One letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
- Confirmation of any health-related issues (Form 100).
Selection Procedure:
- Submitted application documents will be reviewed by the Competition Commission of BNU and the International Relations Service.
- Selected candidates will be nominated by the International Relations Service.
- The International Relations Service of BNU will then forward the information and documents of the selected candidates to the host university.
- The final selection of students will be made by the host university.
- The host university may require nominated students to participate in an additional internal competition.
Funding:
The program fully covers the participant's tuition, living expenses, and travel costs. The monthly stipend amount varies depending on the host country. For detailed information, refer to the ERASMUS+ guide: ERASMUS+ guide.
