BNU has implemented the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).

ECTS credits reflect the amount of learning based on specified learning outcomes and the associated workload. 60 ECTS corresponds to the learning outcomes and related workload of one academic year or an equivalent time period, typically comprising several educational components, each awarded credits based on learning outcomes and workload.

As outlined in the educational programs, credits are allocated in the following manner:

Bachelor's Programmes

• Maritime Navigation: 240 ECTS
• Maritime Navigation in English: 240 ECTS
• Ship's Power Plant: 240 ECTS
• Ship's Power Plant in English: 240 ECTS
• Organization and Management of International Shipments: 240 ECTS

Master's Programme

• Transportation Logistics: 120 ECTS
